Folklorism in music means a specific composers' attitude to folk music which functions as a creative stimulus, a source of ideas to refresh the musical language. Folkloristic music is often a result of desire to create a national style. Folkloristic inspirations played very important role especially in the music of the early post-war period in Central and East-European countries.
